Can I transfer my 12 month minimum Fitness First contract to a friend?

I have a 12 month FF contract which i want to get out of early. I also have a friend who wants to join the gym. Would it be possible to kill two birds with one stone and give my contract to my friend and thereby cancel my contract early? Would this be allowed by fitness first?Can I transfer my 12 month minimum Fitness First contract to a friend?I doubt they allow this, just ask.
