Does this mean my adbominal fitness is really bad? How can I imporove it?

I am a 17 year old girl and I just timed myself to see how many sit-ups I could do in 1 minute, as my friend told me it is a good abdominal fitness test and I only managed 30 sit-ups in that time!



Is that really bad?

How can I improve this?Does this mean my adbominal fitness is really bad? How can I imporove it?No actually it is not that bad. It is actually okay. But you can definitely improve. You just need to train and mix it up. It is good to do abs at least 2 to 3 times a weeks. One day you should do it slowly about 40 reps and another do 20 as fast as you can. It's not all about doing sit-ups quickly. You will get much more out of your ab workouts by doing slow and controlled movements. I would like for you to first star off by doing 3 reps of 8 to 15 sit-ups slowly. You will notice that your abs are much tighter from doing them this way.



Sometimes less is more! take your time and do them correctly and them move up by increasing the reps. You will see a big difference when you do this.
