Everytime I see a white hispanic ( alexis bidal, cameron diaz) in a movie they are always cast as white anglos. Do you think overtime hollywood will change and cast these people as they are??Do you think Hollywood will ever cast white hispanics as hispanic?That's because it's a movie that's for White people.

Problem with doing that is that white hispanic is a pretty obscure minority. Most people wouldn't even know, if it wasn't visible in their names. In cinema, you have to play on people's preconceptions (misconceptions?) that a hispanic person looks like this, Asian like this, etc. Because many are unaware of white hispanics, it becomes difficult to create a believable character.Do you think Hollywood will ever cast white hispanics as hispanic?you are retard to think like that? first of all I have to ask you what does hispanic is mean? if I do not misunderstood this word means.

okay now we know hispanic means the people from the spanish colonies and speaking spanish language? ......most of them are the native americans mixed spanish......... alone the native americans are not white? and plus spanish in spain themselves are NOT WHITE, they are caucasian but not white.... when the people in europe talking about the spanishs. we know they are the caucasian with dark hair and dark eyes, tanned skin? so how can the mixed of spanish and native southern americans be verify as white? and why would hollywood cast the white looking hispanics? when most of them aren't white?Do you think Hollywood will ever cast white hispanics as hispanic?
I haven't seen any white hispanics playing a hispanic, but i have seen black hispanics playing hispanics. Fantasia Borino and LaLa Vasquez and Fabulous are some black hispanics and there are many more. Watch any "novela" made in a Latin American country......most of the actors and actresses are as white as I am.
